TATERU bnb started accepting rental pre-orders for “bnb kit” for making Minpaku facilities smarter with IoT, compliant with the new Minpaku law and revised Inns and Hotels Act that came into force today. “bnb kit” essentially enables unmanned operations with information and communication technology (ICT). Guests unlock SMART LOCK to enter a facility using a key number issued to them when they book a facility, and go through a check-in procedure*1 online such as verifying a passport and identity using CHECK-IN PAD in the room. This allows guests to check-in smoothly anytime. Besides, “TRIP Concierge” provides guests with comfortable travel environment around the clock in multiple languages, with “TRIP PHONE” to meet the diverse requests of guests during their stay such as recommending and booking nearby restaurants and bars, providing public transport information, and reserving a taxi. “bnb kit” is available with the initial cost*2 starting at 30,000 yen and monthly fee starting at 9,800 yen.

Compliant with the private lodging business act and revised Inns and Hotels Act, “bnb kit” utilizes IoT to minimize the cost of Minpaku operations and enable more efficient facility management. Providing guests with services using IoT, facilities can improve the satisfaction levels of guests and differentiate themselves from other facilities. First new- Minpaku -law-compliant Minpaku facility featuring “bnb kit” to open in Kita-ku, Tokyo
TATERU bnb will open the first Minpaku facility that complies with the new law in Kita-ku, Tokyo. On June 15, 2018, TATERU bnb completed its registration*3 as a lodging management company under the new Minpaku law. It will essentially be an unmanned facility under the new law by utilizing ICT and featuring “bnb kit” for smarter Minpaku facilities with IoT. The facility is scheduled to start operation on June 30, 2018.
TATERU bnb will continue deploying Minpaku facilities by expanding services and developing new solutions for Minpaku operations.
